Community Life Pastor
Newport Church is seeking a Community Life Pastor who is deeply committed to building a healthy, thriving church community.
This role is for someone who genuinely loves people, enjoys building community, and is passionate about seeing individuals experience the loving and transforming power of God in their lives. They should be energized by leading teams that help people move from simply attending church to fully belonging, growing, flourishing, and being sent out to live fully into their God-given calling.
The ideal candidate is a devoted follower of Jesus who is filled with the Holy Spirit and deeply committed to the life and mission of the local church. They should thrive in team-based environments and bring emotional intelligence, pastoral wisdom, and a steady, trustworthy presence that helps people feel safe and cared for. They have a genuine passion for developing leaders, enjoy training others for ministry, and are energized by building, equipping, and working alongside volunteer teams and leaders.

This is a full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Youth Pastor
Newport Church is seeking a Youth Pastor who is deeply committed to leading, discipling, and releasing the next generation.
This role is for someone who has a genuine passion for the next generation and a heart to see students encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. This person will be excited to build a thriving youth ministry where students experience authentic community, grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose, and become lifelong disciples of Jesus.
The ideal candidate is a devoted follower of Jesus who is filled with the Holy Spirit and deeply committed to the life and mission of the local church. They lead with humility, authenticity, and a deep love for people, creating environments where students feel seen, known, valued, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ.
This pastor will enjoy investing in others, lead events, recruiting and developing volunteer leaders, and equipping teams to disciple students with excellence and intentionality. They are collaborative, self-motivated, and thrive as part of a healthy leadership team, working alongside parents, children's ministry, young adults, and the broader church to help students take their next step in following Jesus.

- The ability to recruit, equip, encourage, and develop volunteer leaders into confident disciple-makers
- Strong relational leadership with the ability to connect with students, parents, volunteers, and the wider church family.

- An enjoyment of working with volunteers, leading teams and event planning and leadership
This is a part-time position but could be bundled with additional roles to create a larger part-time or full-time role. Depending on the candidate's experience, gifting, and leadership capacity, this position may be structured as a Next Gen Pastor role with oversight beyond student ministry
Content Creator
The Content Creator exists to help tell the story of what God is doing at Newport Church through engaging and creative digital content. This role supports the vision and mission of Newport by creating compelling media that informs, inspires, and connects people to the life of the church. From weekend services to ministry events, the Content Creator helps communicate clearly and creatively across multiple platforms. The needed skillset includes: filming video experience, editing, use of various content creation tools for graphics and video.
